Elsa Löwdin is a Swedish, multi-award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Berlin. Through character-driven storytelling, she explores human rights, social justice, and environmental issues.
Her work has taken her across East Africa, the United States and Europe, where she has worked across every stage of film production, from producing, directing and filming to editing. 2022 she co-founded Oblique Collective, an agency specializing in visual storytelling for NGOs and non-profits.
She is a member Transparency International’s Young Journalists program and co-founder of the Berlin chapter of Video Consortium.
Since 2024, she has been an Associate Creative Director at the U.S.-based agency Side X Side Studios.
Elsa's favourite stories are those that challenges prejudices and inspires positive change.
