Elsa Löwdin is a Swedish, multi-award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Berlin. Through character-driven storytelling, she explores human rights, social justice, and environmental issues.

Her work has taken her across East Africa, the United States, and Europe, where she has produced, directed, filmed, and edited documentaries as well as branded content for nonprofits, NGOs and companies.

She is a member Transparency International’s Young Journalists program and co-founder of the Berlin chapter of Video Consortium.
Since 2024, she has been Associate Creative Director at the U.S.-based agency Side X Side Studios.
